Ways Of The South You know something It is my nature to do what I do It is the way I was raised My southern upbringing I saw it all the time in all the true southern gentlemen And I saw how they were received I was young enough to learn this is how it should be And the ways of the south stayed with me All through my life no matter where I lived It brought out the gentleman in me For all the men I saw living in the south The true southern gentlemen I only hope that I have learned enough To be called one of their own The Poetry Of SMV
